Novel Update: June 21, 2026 — A Summary Near the End

Dear Reader,

I am writing the final chapters of my book. I’m so close I can feel it in my throat. I hope it comes out, and when it does, I hope it makes your heart beat in your throat, too. 

For those who are curious, here’s a brief summary in my words, without giving anything away. 

It is a gothic tragedy and a horror story. 

It is also a story in favor of hope. 

It is about love in all its forms—familial, romantic, friendship—and, most importantly, the whole self: shadow and light.   

And it is about what happens when that love fails.
